Hull Hospitals’ commitment to sustainability and to patient care have been recognised at a national awards ceremony this afternoon. Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust had two projects shortlisted at this year’s Health Business Awards, which was hosted online by well-known TV medic, Dr Mark Porter MBE. Visiting restrictions at Hull’s hospitals

Visiting at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill is being restricted to exceptional cases only from this week to reflect global concerns over the Omicron variant of Covid-19. A new £8m Intensive Care Unit (ICU) has been unveiled at Hull Royal Infirmary to treat critically ill and injured patients from all over Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire.
