Hull A&E staff to feature in a new six-part TV documentary

Hull’s Accident and Emergency Department will feature in a Channel 5 documentary set to air next week. Staff at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust welcomed a team from Crackit Productions into the department last autumn to film for the new six part documentary series. Hospital staff who came forward to help seriously ill people with COVID-19 have been praised after their ward was ‘stepped down’. Nurses, health care assistants, doctors, admin staff, hygienists, caterers and therapists were called upon to help patients with suspected and confirmed COVID-19.
