Hull’s first Chief Registrar has been appointed to empower the city’s junior doctors to improve patient safety at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital. Multi-million pound equipment used in fight against cancer to be unveiled this week

Hull families give gift of life by donating organs of loved ones

Eleven families have agreed to donate the organs of their loved ones in the past five months at Hull Royal Infirmary. Nursing teams have referred 70 patients to the organ donation team at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust since April. Of those, 11 families consented to organ donation with five proceeding to organ donation. New cancer support group to launch just for men

A new cancer support group aimed specifically at men across the Humber region will launch next week.
