Antenatal Outpatients
Antenatal Outpatients consists of the Antenatal Clinic (ANC) and the Antenatal Day Unit (ADU) and is situated on the ground floor of the Women and Children’s Hospital.
Antenatal Clinic
Consultant obstetricians hold regular clinics in the department for antenatal patients, assessing their well being throughout their pregnancy.
Opening hours:
Monday to Thursday – 8.30am to 6.00pm
Friday – 8.30am to 5.00pm.

Antenatal Day Unit
The ADU is an extension of the ANC and is designed to address the changing needs of pregnant women in the antenatal period. The service provides rapid and easy access to a range of monitoring and assessment tools for any women who are concerned about their pregnancy.
The day unit has an appointment system and women can self refer or be referred by obstetricians, general practitioners, midwives and other professionals.

Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 8.00pm
Saturday and Sunday – 8.30am to 5.00pm
